Micro American Bully for Sale
Sold here at the one flat price I charge for every puppy, with the health trade-off written out instead of glossed over.
Micro is not a class anyone recognises. It is a selling word for a pocket American Bully bred shorter and more compressed than a pocket usually is. I list dogs under the term because it is what buyers type into a search bar, and I state on this very page that the trouble rises the shorter the dog goes.

What the word is really pointing at
A pocket taken further along the same line of selection: shorter, wider, more extreme. People put the figure at roughly 11 to 15 inches at the withers, but there is no agreed range because there is no standard for it to measure against. The label describes a direction of travel, not a defined dog.
What the extra compression costs the dog
The very features that turn a pocket into a micro are the ones a vet sees go wrong. A shorter airway is a dog that breathes harder and overheats sooner. Legs shortened under an unchanged body shift how the joints are loaded for the next twelve years. More wrinkle is more warm trapped skin, which is where fold dermatitis takes hold. Plenty of micros live healthy lives; the point is that the risk climbs with the compression, and the asking prices climb right alongside it.
If you are weighing micro against pocket, that choice is set out in full here, and it is the comparison most people searching for micro actually need to see.
The three questions that beat the label
Forget the word and look at the parents. Is their breathing quiet when they are resting? Do they move cleanly as they walk away from you and turn back? Were their own litters born without a caesarean every time? Honest answers to those three tell you more about the puppy than any marketing term ever will.
The terms every puppy here leaves on
The price sits on the card, with nothing added at the end of the conversation. Examined by Bell Rock Veterinary Clinic before it travels, sent home with a written health record and enough of its own food to change over slowly, and delivered anywhere in the country by road or by a nanny who flies it in the cabin, never in cargo.
I don’t screen or certify the parents and won’t claim I do. What I do is have every puppy examined by Bell Rock Veterinary Clinic before it leaves, and the dates go on the record that travels with the dog.
