Delivered to Maryland
American Bully Puppies for Sale in Maryland
Raised underfoot in my house in Sedona, Arizona, and brought to Maryland by road. Every puppy is vet checked before it sets off and the price is the same across the litter.
I am in Sedona, Arizona, and not in Maryland, and saying that plainly beats dressing this page up as though I kept a kennel around the corner from you. Well served by flight nannies into Baltimore, which most buyers at this distance choose.
Your two routes into Maryland
By road it is 3 to 4 days, 2,100 to 2,300 miles handled in a temperature-controlled vehicle with breaks built in along the way.
By flight nanny it is a single day. One person carries the puppy in the cabin and meets you at the gate. Honestly, at this range most Maryland families go with the nanny, and if it were my own dog I would do the same.
Whichever you pick, a cargo hold is off the table. There is no version of this where I agree to it.
The cost of a puppy delivered to Maryland
The price sits on each puppy’s card and on the price page, and it holds steady across the litter. Tell me roughly where in Maryland you are and I will give you the one figure that applies, with nothing quietly tacked on afterward.
See the price and what the first year truly costs, which reaches well beyond the puppy.
Maryland went wrong, then put it right
Maryland is worth laying out in full, because what happened there is still shaping the rental market. In 2012 the state’s highest court held that pit bulls were inherently dangerous, which attached strict liability not only to owners but to landlords who knowingly let one onto the property. Landlords reacted the way you would expect, and a great many families were handed a choice between the dog and the lease.
The legislature overturned it. Maryland law today is breed-neutral: liability falls on the owner of any dog running at large, with no breed test in it. That has stood for over a decade, and no Maryland jurisdiction bans the breed.
Ordinances shift over time and none of this is legal advice. If you want to read the statute for yourself, the state-by-state dog law tables at Michigan State University are the collection to start from. Whatever your state has decided, the two things worth getting in writing before you commit are your own city or county code and your landlord, association or insurer, since a private rule answers to none of the state law above. Say the word and I will hold a puppy while you confirm it.
The clauses that outlived the ruling
The reason that history matters to a buyer now is that plenty of Maryland leases still carry breed clauses written during those two years, and they remain enforceable as contract terms even though the ruling behind them is gone. If you rent in Maryland, read the pet addendum closely and ask the management company directly, because the clause may well predate the law being fixed.
Maryland’s climate is easy on this breed. Humid through July and August around the Bay, mild otherwise. Most Maryland buyers take a flight nanny into BWI, a day rather than the three or four the drive would run.
Places in Maryland I have carried puppies to
Baltimore, Columbia, Germantown, Silver Spring, among others. A town that is not on that list changes nothing at all: the route runs the same way and the puppy is still handed over at your door.
Before it travels, every puppy is checked over by Bell Rock Veterinary Clinic in Sedona and leaves with a written health record. I do not screen or certify the parents and I make no such claim. What I actually do · What comes with your puppy · Sales policy
