American Bully Puppies Under $1,000
Every puppy I raise is $700, which clears the thousand-dollar line with room to spare and no small print to get there.
Yes, and without a single condition attached: I price every puppy at $700, so all 10 currently with me come in under $1,000. That is not a headline figure for one puppy in the litter and a different story for the rest, and it is not a number that climbs once we start talking. It is what you pay, with nothing bolted on at the end.
How a puppy lands under a thousand and is still worth having
When the same breed is advertised at three thousand dollars elsewhere, the fair question about $700 is what got cut to get there. Here is the honest accounting.
It is me, in my own house, and that is the whole operation. I raise the litters myself. There is no building to rent, no wages to pay, no handler on retainer, no show campaign and no advertising spend. For a larger kennel those are real costs, and they are sitting underneath that three-thousand-dollar tag whether the listing says so or not. Here they do not exist, so they are not in the price.
You are buying from the person who raised the dog. No broker and no listing site standing in between, each taking a cut. Going straight to the breeder takes that margin out.
What I will not do is let the price drift upward for the fashionable puppy in the group. A buyer should never have to wonder whether the quiet one in the corner was marked down because something is wrong with it, or the showy one marked up because it photographs well. Neither happens here.
What the $700 actually buys
- An examination by Bell Rock Veterinary Clinic before the puppy travels
- DHPP, covering distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza and parvovirus, with a booster and canine influenza at ten weeks
- Worming every two weeks from two weeks old
- A written health record with dates, in your hand at collection
- Enough of its current food to change over gradually
- I’ll take back any dog I’ve bred, at any point in its life, with no time limit and no questions asked.
I don’t screen or certify the parents and won’t claim I do. What I do is have every puppy examined by Bell Rock Veterinary Clinic before it leaves, and the dates go on the record that travels with the dog.
Microchipping is there for an added fee if you want it. The full list of what comes home with the dog.
The figure worth more of your attention than the purchase price
The $700 is the smallest line item of the first twelve months, not the largest. Set aside $1,900 to $3,600 for the first year including the puppy, covering the neuter, the rest of the vaccinations, food for a dog heading toward seventy pounds, a crate bought at adult size from the start, and a training class that earns its fee.
Put another way, a buyer agonising between a $700 puppy and a $2,500 one is arguing over roughly eight percent of what the dog will cost across its life. The other ninety-two percent is where the real decision sits. The full breakdown is here.
