American Bully Puppies Under $500
I have nothing at that price, and I would rather tell you why on the page you landed on than reel you in and change the subject.
No, I do not have puppies under $500. Mine are $700. A properly raised American Bully, seen by a vet and leaving with a written health record, is simply not a $500 dog, and I am not going to pretend otherwise to keep you reading. What I can do on this page is be straight about what sits at that price point and what the money actually needs to be.
Why a $500 bully is usually a signal, not a bargain
Getting a litter safely to eight weeks costs real money before anyone has been paid for the weeks of work: care for the mother through the pregnancy, the delivery, first vaccinations, worming every two weeks, food, and a vet check before the puppy leaves. That alone runs to several hundred dollars a puppy. When a listing sits well under $500, something in that list has usually been skipped.
So when you see the figure, ask the plain questions rather than assuming the worst about any one seller: has the litter seen a vet, and will they name that vet so you can ring them? Were the puppies raised in a home or out of sight in a shed? Can you watch the mother on a live video call? A seller who answers those cleanly at a low price is rare and worth having. A seller who goes quiet is answering a different way.
What the $700 has to cover
- An examination by Bell Rock Veterinary Clinic in Sedona before the puppy travels
- A full vaccination schedule for the puppy’s age, with every date written down
- Worming on schedule from two weeks old
- A written health record that goes home with the dog
- Enough of the food it already eats to change over gradually
- I’ll take back any dog I’ve bred, at any point in its life, with no time limit and no questions asked.
Nothing is tacked on at the close. The longer version of that answer is here.
If $500 is genuinely the ceiling right now
Then a shelter or a breed-specific rescue is a good route, and I mean that without a trace of it being second best. The fee is small, the dog has usually been vaccinated and often already neutered, and the people handing it over will tell you honestly what they know about it.
American Bully rescues operate in most states, and they frequently have young adults rather than puppies, which suits a great many households better than a puppy ever would. If and when you can reach $700, what I have now is here, and there is no rush from my end.
Ask me anything before you decide
That includes whether this breed suits your household at all. You will get a straight answer whichever way it falls.
