Delivered to Idaho

American Bully Puppies for Sale in Idaho

Raised underfoot in my house in Sedona, Arizona, and brought to Idaho by road. Every puppy is vet checked before it sets off and the price is the same across the litter.

I am in Sedona, Arizona, and not in Idaho, and saying that plainly beats dressing this page up as though I kept a kennel around the corner from you. An easy run in summer. Winter over the higher ground occasionally adds a day.

Bringing a puppy out to Idaho

From my door in Sedona to Idaho is 900 to 1,100 miles, which on the road comes to 2 days. The puppy rides the whole distance in a temperature-controlled vehicle, and we stop to let it stretch, eat and be looked over.

No freight company ever touches it and it never flies in a hold. If air travel suits you more, a nanny who keeps the puppy in the cabin is there as the alternative.

The cost of a puppy delivered to Idaho

The price sits on each puppy’s card and on the price page, and it holds steady across the litter. Tell me roughly where in Idaho you are and I will give you the one figure that applies, with nothing quietly tacked on afterward.

See the price and what the first year truly costs, which reaches well beyond the puppy.

Idaho leaves breed rules to local government

Idaho has no statewide breed ban and no preemption statute, so municipalities and counties set their own rules. The Treasure Valley has grown fast enough that ordinances in and around Boise are worth reading rather than assuming.

Check your city code, then check your policy. Insurers operating in Idaho run their own breed lists, and those stand apart from whatever the city decides.

Ordinances shift over time and none of this is legal advice. If you want to read the statute for yourself, the state-by-state dog law tables at Michigan State University are the collection to start from. Whatever your state has decided, the two things worth getting in writing before you commit are your own city or county code and your landlord, association or insurer, since a private rule answers to none of the state law above. Say the word and I will hold a puppy while you confirm it.

Dry summers, and the drive up through the high country

Boise runs hot in July, but it is dry heat, which a heavy dog takes better than the humid version. First light and evening are the workable parts of a summer day, and shade matters more than the figure on the thermometer.

The north of the state is another proposition for travel. The route up through the mountains is long and winter shuts parts of it, so a January delivery to Coeur d’Alene is built around the forecast in a way a Boise run is not. The drive from Sedona is a comfortable two days either way.

Places in Idaho I have carried puppies to

Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Idaho Falls, among others. A town that is not on that list changes nothing at all: the route runs the same way and the puppy is still handed over at your door.

Before it travels, every puppy is checked over by Bell Rock Veterinary Clinic in Sedona and leaves with a written health record. I do not screen or certify the parents and I make no such claim. What I actually do · What comes with your puppy · Sales policy
