American Bully Puppies for Sale in Virginia

Raised underfoot in my house in Sedona, Arizona, and brought to Virginia by road. Every puppy is vet checked before it sets off and the price is the same across the litter.

I am in Sedona, Arizona, and not in Virginia, and saying that plainly beats dressing this page up as though I kept a kennel around the corner from you. At this distance most buyers prefer a nanny into Richmond or Norfolk.

Your two routes into Virginia

By road it is 3 days, 2,100 to 2,300 miles handled in a temperature-controlled vehicle with breaks built in along the way.

By flight nanny it is a single day. One person carries the puppy in the cabin and meets you at the gate. Honestly, at this range most Virginia families go with the nanny, and if it were my own dog I would do the same.

Whichever you pick, a cargo hold is off the table. There is no version of this where I agree to it.

The cost of a puppy delivered to Virginia

The price sits on each puppy’s card and on the price page, and it holds steady across the litter. Tell me roughly where in Virginia you are and I will give you the one figure that applies, with nothing quietly tacked on afterward.

See the price and what the first year truly costs, which reaches well beyond the puppy.

Virginia forbids breed-based determinations

Virginia bars its localities from adopting breed-specific ordinances, and the state code goes further than most by saying outright that no dog may be found dangerous or vicious solely on account of its breed. Virginia does keep a dangerous dog registry, but a dog only lands on it after a court finding about that particular animal.

That is about as clear a statewide position as exists in this country, and it means no Virginia city or county can tell you the dog is not allowed.

Ordinances shift over time and none of this is legal advice. If you want to read the statute for yourself, the state-by-state dog law tables at Michigan State University are the collection to start from. Whatever your state has decided, the two things worth getting in writing before you commit are your own city or county code and your landlord, association or insurer, since a private rule answers to none of the state law above. Say the word and I will hold a puppy while you confirm it.

Base housing and the Northern Virginia rental market

Hampton Roads holds one of the largest concentrations of military personnel in the United States, and privatized housing at Norfolk, Little Creek, Oceana and Langley restricts pit bull type dogs by lease. A lease is a private contract, and the state preemption does not reach into it. If you live on base, the housing office is the only answer that counts, and it is worth asking before a deposit rather than after orders come through.

Up in Northern Virginia the equivalent constraint is density. Arlington and Alexandria are heavily rental and condo, and both leases and associations routinely cap weight or name breeds. Get it in writing. Virginia’s climate itself is straightforward for this dog, humid through August in the east and mild the rest of the way.

Places in Virginia I have carried puppies to

Virginia Beach, Richmond, Norfolk, Arlington, Alexandria, among others. A town that is not on that list changes nothing at all: the route runs the same way and the puppy is still handed over at your door.

Before it travels, every puppy is checked over by Bell Rock Veterinary Clinic in Sedona and leaves with a written health record. I do not screen or certify the parents and I make no such claim. What I actually do · What comes with your puppy · Sales policy
