American Bully Puppies for Sale in New York
Raised underfoot in my house in Sedona, Arizona, and brought to New York by flight nanny. Every puppy is vet checked before it sets off and the price is the same across the litter.
I am in Sedona, Arizona, and not in New York, and saying that plainly beats dressing this page up as though I kept a kennel around the corner from you. My longest ground run, which is why most New York buyers use a flight nanny into JFK or LaGuardia instead.
How a puppy reaches you in New York
New York sits 2,300 to 2,500 miles out, and the drive would eat 3 to 4 days, far too long to have a young dog on the road. This is why nearly everyone at this range picks a flight nanny: a person who buys a seat, keeps the puppy in the cabin on their lap the whole flight, and places it in your arms at the gate.
The hold is never on the table. I do not put a dog in cargo for anyone, under any airline policy, at any price.
That turns a journey of several days into a single afternoon in the cabin, start to finish.
The cost of a puppy delivered to New York
The price sits on each puppy’s card and on the price page, and it holds steady across the litter. Tell me roughly where in New York you are and I will give you the one figure that applies, with nothing quietly tacked on afterward.
See the price and what the first year truly costs, which reaches well beyond the puppy.
New York State preempts, but the building may not
New York State preempts breed-specific local law under the Agriculture and Markets Law, so no city, town or village in the state can ban an American Bully. That covers the whole state, New York City included, and it has been settled for many years.
Every real restriction a New York buyer runs into is private. The Housing Authority sets weight limits across its own stock. Co-op boards approve or refuse pets at their own discretion and owe no explanation. Rental buildings write their own policies, and many cap weight at a figure a bully clears by twenty pounds.
Ordinances shift over time and none of this is legal advice. If you want to read the statute for yourself, the state-by-state dog law tables at Michigan State University are the collection to start from. Whatever your state has decided, the two things worth getting in writing before you commit are your own city or county code and your landlord, association or insurer, since a private rule answers to none of the state law above. Say the word and I will hold a puppy while you confirm it.
Get it in writing before the deposit
The single most useful move a New York buyer can make is to secure written confirmation from the board or the managing agent before committing to a puppy, naming the breed and the expected adult weight. It takes one email. It has rescued more New York purchases from falling apart than any other piece of advice on this site, and I will hold a puppy while you get it.
As for the dog, a bully does well in a New York apartment. They are low-stamina, high-affection animals that sleep most of the day and want company more than room. What they will not tolerate is being under-walked, because they put on weight readily and a heavy frame carrying extra is a joint problem within a few years. Two real walks a day and they thrive on the eighth floor.
Places in New York I have carried puppies to
New York City, Buffalo, Rochester, Albany, Syracuse, among others. A town that is not on that list changes nothing at all: the route runs the same way and the puppy is still handed over at your door.
Before it travels, every puppy is checked over by Bell Rock Veterinary Clinic in Sedona and leaves with a written health record. I do not screen or certify the parents and I make no such claim. What I actually do · What comes with your puppy · Sales policy
