American Bully Puppies for Sale in Michigan
Raised underfoot in my house in Sedona, Arizona, and brought to Michigan by road. Every puppy is vet checked before it sets off and the price is the same across the litter.
I am in Sedona, Arizona, and not in Michigan, and saying that plainly beats dressing this page up as though I kept a kennel around the corner from you. Long snowy winters, more so in the Upper Peninsula. Many Michigan buyers choose a flight nanny into Detroit instead.
Your two routes into Michigan
By road it is 3 days, 1,900 to 2,100 miles handled in a temperature-controlled vehicle with breaks built in along the way.
By flight nanny it is a single day. One person carries the puppy in the cabin and meets you at the gate. Honestly, at this range most Michigan families go with the nanny, and if it were my own dog I would do the same.
Whichever you pick, a cargo hold is off the table. There is no version of this where I agree to it.
The cost of a puppy delivered to Michigan
The price sits on each puppy’s card and on the price page, and it holds steady across the litter. Tell me roughly where in Michigan you are and I will give you the one figure that applies, with nothing quietly tacked on afterward.
See the price and what the first year truly costs, which reaches well beyond the puppy.
No state ban in Michigan, and no preemption either
Michigan has no statewide breed-specific law, and it has no statute stopping a local government from writing one. That pairing means the answer shifts township to township, which catches people out in the Detroit metro in particular, where you can move four miles and land under a different set of rules.
Detroit itself does not ban the breed. Several smaller municipalities around the metro do keep restrictions on the books. Otherwise Michigan’s dog law runs on individual dangerous dog findings, which is the sensible half of it.
Ordinances shift over time and none of this is legal advice. If you want to read the statute for yourself, the state-by-state dog law tables at Michigan State University are the collection to start from. Whatever your state has decided, the two things worth getting in writing before you commit are your own city or county code and your landlord, association or insurer, since a private rule answers to none of the state law above. Say the word and I will hold a puppy while you confirm it.
A long winter is the easy part
Michigan winters run long, and cold troubles this breed far less than people assume. A bully holds condition well and is content outside for an ordinary walk through a Michigan January. What wants attention is road salt, which cracks and burns pads across a season, so a rinse and a wipe after every walk earns its thirty seconds.
The bigger caution is ice. A seventy pound dog that goes down on a driveway can do real damage to a joint, and in the first year, with the growth plates still open, that becomes a lasting injury rather than a limp. Keep a young dog on a short lead over ice and skip the off-lead run until spring.
Places in Michigan I have carried puppies to
Detroit, Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, Lansing, among others. A town that is not on that list changes nothing at all: the route runs the same way and the puppy is still handed over at your door.
Before it travels, every puppy is checked over by Bell Rock Veterinary Clinic in Sedona and leaves with a written health record. I do not screen or certify the parents and I make no such claim. What I actually do · What comes with your puppy · Sales policy
