American Bully Puppies Under $300
There are none here at that price, and I will show you the maths for why a healthy puppy cannot be, plus the honest routes open to you at that budget.
No. I do not have puppies at $300, and nor does anyone raising them properly. Mine are $700. A $300 American Bully is either sick, misrepresented, or the front end of a scam, because the figure is below what it costs simply to bring a litter into the world safely. At a genuine $300 budget the sound routes are a shelter adoption or an older dog looking for a new home, and both are good ones.
The arithmetic that makes $300 impossible
Forget profit entirely for a moment. This is what leaves my pocket before a single puppy walks out of the door:
| Cost | Typical |
|---|---|
| Veterinary care for the dam through pregnancy | $200 to $500 |
| Whelping, or a caesarean if one is needed | $0 to $3,000 |
| First vaccinations for the litter | $40 to $80 per puppy |
| Worming, every two weeks from two weeks old | $20 to $40 per puppy |
| Food for the dam and the litter | $200 to $600 |
| Pre-travel veterinary examination | $50 to $90 per puppy |
Total it up and you are already several hundred dollars into each puppy, and that is before one minute of eight weeks of round-the-clock raising has been paid for. A seller advertising under $300 has either not done these things or is not telling you the truth about having done them. That is the clearest explanation I can give for why the number cannot be what it is being advertised as.
What I would actually point you toward
A shelter or a breed-specific rescue, and I say that with no embarrassment attached to it at all. For a modest fee you get a dog that has been vaccinated and is often already neutered, handed over by people who will tell you plainly what they know about it.
An older dog also lets you skip the stage most first-time owners badly underestimate: four-month teething, house training, and the whole adolescent year of a strong bull breed. For plenty of households that is not a compromise at all, it is the better dog.
When $700 becomes reachable
My price is $700 and it stays there whatever the puppy’s age. I do not mark a puppy down for being the last one chosen, because the last one in a litter is not a lesser dog, and I do not want a buyer carrying the feeling that they took the reject.
What the $700 includes is set out here, and what the first year stacks on top of it is here. That first-year figure is the one genuinely worth checking before you take on a dog this size.
Ask me what it really costs
The purchase price is the smaller half of the story. Tell me your situation and I will give you an honest first-year figure to plan against.
